YORK – The levies for the different political subdivisions in the county will be officially set next Tuesday, Oct. 3, when the York County Commissioners meet in regular session. The commissioners will adopt the resolutions as the board of equalization.
The different subdivisions include the villages, cities, school districts, Southeast Community College, ag society, Upper Big Blue Natural Resource District, etc. This happens every year at this time, after the different subdivisions have created and approved their own budgets and determined their own levies.
