Local incumbents reminded Primary Election filing deadline is nearing

YORK – Local incumbents are reminded they have only a few days to file their candidacies to run for reelection in the spring Primary Election. 

​Incumbents have until the end of Feb. 15 to do so. Non-incumbents have until March 1.
There are a number of seats up for election this year, locally, which will pertain to the Primary Election:

• District 2 York County Commissioner
• District 5 York County Commissioner
• Henderson Mayor
• Henderson City Council
• York Mayor
• York City Council
• McCool School Board
• York School Board
• Heartland School Board

To file to be a candidate, go to the county election office which is located across the hall from the York County Clerk’s office on the main floor of the York County Courthouse.
