YORK COUNTY – This next Tuesday, March 19, the York County Commissioners are expected to take action on the proposed solar zoning regulations they want to present to the public. They will vote on certain aspects of the proposed regulations and come up with a final draft they intend to present during a public hearing.
Tuesday’s decisions will not be to finalize the county’s solar project zoning regulations. The decisions made Tuesday will be to finalize what they will present to the public for further testimony before a final decision is made. They will not be adopting the regulations on Tuesday. They will be deciding what the public will see as a final proposal. This comes after months of discussion by the county’s planning and zoning committee and their discussions as well.
