 YORK – York University students had the opportunity to visit with representatives of the county, city and all types of businesses during the recent job fair held on campus.
 YORK – When the York County Commissioners meet in regular session, on Tuesday, Nov. 25, they will consider a number of agreements, a grant application and surplus inventory for the York County Roads Department.
 YORK – The York County Sheriff’s Office will be participating in the “Make It Click” mobilization through the Nebraska Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office.
 YORK – Registered voters in District 2 in York County have been or will soon be receiving their ballots for the special election regarding the potential recall of York County Commissioner LeRoy Ott.
 YORK – The York County Sheriff’s Office has issued a warning about a new scam, happening now, in which callers claim there are active warrants for those receiving the calls.
 YORK – York County Sheriff Paul Vrkba, as well as the rest of the YSO, has recognized Deputy Deion Hulse for completing the 17-County Leadership Program, an initiative organized by the York County Development Corporation and facilitated by Dr. Shannon Leinen of York University.
 YORK – York County Aging Services will be offering a holiday meal before Thanksgiving arrives.
It will be at the York Area Senior Center, at 11:30 a.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 26. Those who want to attend need to make reservations by 1 p.m., on Monday, Nov. 24, by calling 402-362-7626, extension 2.  YORK – York County Sheriff Deputies Gabe Steele and Dylan Nordstrom have successfully completed the department’s field training program.
 YORK – Many people were in attendance for an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony this week, at the Four Corners Health Department office.
 YORK – The most recent meeting of the York County Commissioners marked the first since Harvey Keim resigned his position as highway superintendent and the new supervisors for the roads department made their report.
